The charity is being wound up
In June the trustees decided that the interests of the charity’s beneficiaries would best be served by liquidating its investments, distributing its capital in lump sums and winding up, rather than continuing to make small donations over the years, which would involve awardees in recurring uncertainty, bidding effort and costs, and the charity in administration costs. The trustees have selected 21 existing and recent beneficiary charities to receive the funds.
Preparations to make these final donations prior to winding up the charity are now under way. The selected beneficiaries have been informed. No further funding bids will be accepted.
